Christopher Prusinski was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1958, and was the eldest of four children. His mother became a registered nurse later in life and his father is an osteopathic physician specializing in family medicine. He was raised on the east side of Cleveland and enjoyed a life of scholastics, sports, church and scientific discovery. His undergraduate degree was completed at Ohio university where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology pre-medicine. Dr. Prusinski's medical education was completed at the first school of osteopathic medicine, the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, in 1985. In 1986, he completed a rotating internship at the Richmond Heights General Hospital, where his father interned twenty years before him. Dr. Prusinski completed his neurology residency training at The Ohio State University in 1989 serving as chief resident his last year of study.

Dr. Prusinski has been in private practice in Brevard county, Florida since 1989. He has been on active medical staff at Holmes Regional Medical Center and Palm Bay Community Hospital and has served as the Chairman of the division of Neurology, department of Medicine, for two terms. He has also served as the Neurology reviewer for the quality assurance committee at these facilities.

Dr. Prusinski has been in the private practice of Adult Neurology in Brevard county, Florida since 1989. He maintains a primary office in Melbourne and a northern office in Merritt Island to better serve the space program of the Kennedy Space Center.

Personal Life

Dr. Prusinski has been a resident of Florida since 1989. He has been blessed with the kind support of his lovely wife, whom he married in 1987, and their two amazing children. In his leisure time, Dr. Prusinski has been an avid sports car and formula car race car driver since 1991. He is a race car and high performance driving instructor and has raced on most of the most important race tracks in North America. He is also an expert Horologist and Horological historian as well as a longstanding member of the Palm Beach Chapter of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. Dr. Prusinski has enjoyed singing since altar serving in his childhood and plays acoustic as well as electric guitar. His passion for music is shared by his children and they attend live music performances often. Dr. Prusinski is a lifelong student of art, architecture, music, design, history and literature.
