Devotion to Care and Treatment

The offices and staff of Dr. Christopher Prusinski are devoted to the care and treatment of individuals with Neurological diseases. Dr. Prusinski has been in the private practice of Neurology since 1989 and has two offices to serve you. Our primary office is in Melbourne. We maintain a second office location in Merritt Island to provide for our patients to the north. At the insistence of Dr. Prusinski, a patient that is accepted is seen within two weeks of contacting our office. It is his belief that any patient that contacts a specialist’s office should be seen in short order. All patients under the care of Dr. Prusinski are seen by the doctor. No physician’s assistants nor nurse practitioners are employed.

EMG/NCS, EEG, EP, MRI, CAT Scan

In addition to the outpatient care of neurological disease, a full complement of neurodiagnosic testing is available through our office. This includes neurophysiologic tests such as electromyography/nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS), electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potentials (EPs),and neurodiagnostic imaging including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computerized axial tomography (CAT scan) with interpretation. Dr. Prusinski reads all films completed as a part of his patient’s care unless otherwise specified by the doctor. Less than 2% of practicing neurologists offer this as a routine part of their practice. Dr. Prusinski maintains active membership in the American Society of Neuroimaging.

The first through the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry in Neurology, an allopathic medical institution. The second, through the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry in Neurology, an osteopathic medical institution.
